There is a new little someone to love

Welcome Taylor Colin, born April 17th at 4:43am weighed in at 6lbs 15oz

Welcome little sunshine into my open arms and loving heart.

We are so excited for your arrival. Mommy and Daddy could barely wait. Your brothers are excited to teach you basketball, football and soccer. Your sister is thrilled to have a new playmate. You are the perfect addition to our family, so precious and special. Our lifetime of fun has just begun.

Update

I wish I had something exciting to state like I'm heading to the hospital but no such luck. I'm home counting the baby kicks and trying to wait patiently. Baby is moving which is always good. However the waiting is like watching paint dry. I wonder if I'll have second thoughts about being so anxious when the pain starts. Thank god for epidurals.

False Alarm

Well it was a long day turns out that something is started but it's still early. I was only 1cm dilated with contractions 10cm apart not strong enough to be admitted as I'm only in early labour. I was sent home .. odd thing is this is my forth and I've never gone to the hospital early for the other three each time i was pretty much ready to deliver. I guess I'm getting overly excited. I hope tonight I'll get more rest. My husband is especially tired but he is sleeping already.

Could baby be on the way?

I'm 37 weeks and 3 days now around dinner time yesterday I started to have what I'd like to think is just braxton hicks. They keep coming infrequently but regularly every 30 minutes or so. I did sleep for most of the night but around 3am i woke and they are still there. It's now 4am and there isn't really any pain yet however i recall labour being similar to this with my others. I think it's time to call in my support system. Mom and Dad to come probably around 6am. I'm pretty sure my body is getting ready to have this little one however it is still a little early isn't it?? I was only expecting this new little one for Easter which is a week and half away but i guess he or she has a schedule of their own. Maybe i should pack my bag now too since I'm up.

Baby of Mine - Ultrasound

Today I had my 30 week check up which included an ultrasound of our little one. Everything looked good baby is about 3 lbs already and everything was normal. We got this great photo of his/her little face.



They did tell me that our baby is breech right now but it's still very early and likely that will change. I have to go back in two weeks looks like the frequent doctor visits are starting. Just 9.5 weeks to go. Little one we are so excited to meet you, hold and cuddle you.
