Out of curiosity, does she use the iPad as an augmentative communication device? Hubster ran into someone the other day who uses one for their nonverbal child, and we need to get a new device of some sort for Scooter. The one she has is so heavy it's not that portable. In fact, when it's icy out, it's downright dangerous to carry to the bus! The only thing I'd be concerned with as far as using an iPad is it's durability. I can see her sitting on it or chucking it across the room, if she got upset with someone.
How well does it work, if she does use it as her voice?
